When you are on a swingset?

I only swing in 1 direction. I keep going around and around the swing set

Yes, the laws of inertia dictate as much. When one swings forward, it is normal to reach an apex , and then return on a backward swing. Unless One meets with an immovable object which interrupts the motion.

Well I like to go sideways at times, but it sucks when there's someone on the swing next to yours.. you might bump heads from time to time. HA! get it? So yes.. swinging both ways is always fun.. hehe.

Yes... but I really enjoy twirling the rope until it is twisted all the way to the top and then just letting go...
