BB, I miscarried my first child at 2 weeks after conception (also called 4 weeks pregnant). It was seriously one of the hardest things I've ever had to go through. I had NO idea I could become so attached so quickly to the little life growing inside me. I will always feel that I lost a baby that day--not just some cells, you know? In fact, I really think it was a girl and we named her "Jessica." Some outside unrelated stuff happened which seemed to support this (like a total stranger randomly told me that he thought it was girl, too).
I know sometimes it can feel like abortion is the only way out of the stress you must be feeling right now, but it's "benefits" are only short-term--every woman ends up dealing with it in her own way down the line (check out testimonies on www.afterabortion.org).
Have you considered carrying the child and putting him/her up for adoption? There are a lot of people and resources out there for moms facing unplanned pregnancies. You can find your local Pregnancy Resource Center here: www.pregnancycenters.org and they offer free help/services with an emphasis on local resources.
I will keep you and your little one in my prayers! God bless!

Reposting: I found this on www.babyzone.com. It's about the development of the baby at 4 weeks (2 weeks after conception--which is where you are since at 2 weeks no pregnancy test can possibly be positive!):

At two weeks old, and after implantation, your baby-to-be is officially an embryo. This week the embryo will grow an amniotic sac and a yolk sac. The placenta, which will nourish your baby until birth, is beginning to form. By now the backbone, spinal column, and nervous system are forming. The kidneys, liver, and intestines are starting to take shape and your baby's facial features are already emerging. Soon (if not already), that magical heartbeat will throb. The embryo is only one-sixth (about the width of a pencil) of an inch long, but is rapidly developing.

Yes, it is murder. If you live your life based on principles, one of the underlying, bedrock principles that cannot be denied is the principle that killing another human being is wrong. From the moment of fertilization, a baby has been formed. It is a completely individual being, separate from the mother in that it has a unique set of DNA, a gender that may or may not be the same as the mother's, and a blood type that may or may not be the same as the mother's. The baby is an individual and singularly worthy human being, at the most innocent and defenseless stage of life. Please do not abort your child. Choose life. You will be rewarded a thousand-fold for your selflessness.

There is nothing that can be so bad to have an abortion. Yes in my opnion it is murder. Everyday that passes your baby gets a little bigger. If you are not ready for parenthood try adoption. The adoptive parents will pay for the whole pregnancy and delivery. Not only that but it will give your child a chance at life. What is 9 months??? Surely you can give that up at least. Oh and next time try birth control!!!

This is my view. As soon as you know your pregnante, it is a life. Thats what I think, I also think way too many people missuse abortions as a form of birth control. I know personally I could never end a life. I would think way too much about what the baby would be like, what it'll be when it grows up ect. I had a miscarrage 11 weeks into a pregancy and still miss that baby and wonder about what it could have been. I have 3 happy healthy kids now and am expecting #4.

I am pro-life, not a christian either.... I am not going to go as far as saying murder that early but after 4 weeks YES... but I do think it is a very selfish act. It is the one mistake in life that you should have to deal with the consequences just like anything else. Anything else, you deal with, why is that any different. If you are mature enough to be having sex than you are mature enough to use protection. There is really no excuse for it nowadays. People use abortion to much because of an "Oops. I forgot a condom." The only cases that are justified are rape, incest and if a woman is not able to carry a child, otherwise, use protection, it is simple.

Before I had 2 children I would of said --no it is not murder. But since I am now mature and the mother of 2, I know now deep in my heart that it is murder.

There are so many options out there. Good luck in making the right decision for you and your baby.

I don't think you're even allowed to have an abortion at 2 weeks.

I don't know if its murder or not I guess it can be cause if you did nothing that fetus would turn into a person. I don't think its a question of is it murder the question is Is it right or wrong. Only you can answer that. Only you know where you stand in your life and if you can handle a pregnancy and motherhood.

If I wasn't ready I would have one. I'm grateful for WOMAN'S RIGHT TO CHOOSE.

I decide what my body will and will not do and no one should judge me on my choice. I don't judge people for HAVING kids in an already over populated word so I shouldn't be judged if I decide to not have a child and neither should you. GOOD LUCK I know this can be a very difficult decision to make.

In my opinion yes. Does not matter how early in the pregnancy you are, if you are putting a stop to this life that has already been set into motion then that is a conscious choice to stop that life developing and therefor putting an end to a life. It does not matter that there is no brain or heartbeat yet, you are still putting an end to this life that has already begun.

Well in my opinion it's not just your body anymore. You created another human being and it is your responsibility to take care of that baby for atleast 9 months. If you don't want the baby give it up for adoption. So yes I consider it murder. Just so you know, at 21 days the heart starts beating so then it really is a living thing. Please just consider every thing. You don't want to hate yourself someday for killing your own child!

Also.. if you do not want this baby there is also adoption so that other people that do not have a chance to have one.. Like my self i do not think i will be able to have one .. its your choice.. and i hop you decide wisely..
