Hi,
I think you are confused about the scope and opportunities of doing CPA. The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and its predecessors have been serving the accounting profession since around 1887. Also if you do CPA, it will broaden your career opportunities outside India since CPA is recognised in the US and other countries.

It is better to complete articleship after CA Inter and start preparing for CPA course also. It would be better if you could get to work in the industry that you are targeting specifically once you complete your CA eg. banks, insurance companies, product - based companies etc. Also, talk to your seniors and see what they did around this time.
I am a teacher and I have seen many students following the above route while also doing other courses like CS, ICWA, ICFAI etc..

Happy studying......:)

My suggestion is bypass during the internet internet site of the professional classes obtainable to you to pursue like CMA (ICWA), CA, CS. inspect the syllabus, training desires (now even CMA will require 3 years complete time training). See which syllabus is of your interest and for which one you have the potential. no count what you p.c., be waiting to paintings very annoying. CMA. Devarajan
