Reads 208 GB. Do I need to switch something or will it automatically switch when needed. I know I should have plenty of space, but the space is divided. How does this work and what if anything do I need to do?

No, if you want to move stuff to the drive with a lot of free space, you'll have to do it manually.

Games and other programs can't really be moved, but you can move music and movies. Just go into "My Computer" and find media that you want to move, right click it, select "cut", go into the drive with empty space, right click and hit "paste"

You can run disk cleanup which will remove a lot of unnecessary files.

Also, in Internet Explorer, click on "tools", then "Internet options". At this point, you will see two bars; one is "delete cookies" and the other is "delete files". Click on them both. The files are in the temporary Internet folder. This should free up some space.

In my neighbor's computer, her disk was so low that XP couldn't even start. Using a boot disk, I removed the *.chk files which freed up 300 MB and allowed the system to boot. When we erased all the unused temporary files and cookies, would you believe we ended up with 1.2 GB of space?!!

Depending upon your operating system, you might look for *.chk files. These are file fragments found by scandisk and can be deleted. Often this will free hundreds of megabytes of space on the drive.

Good luck!

Best regards,
Jim
