Is your computer on a network? If not and the remote computer is coming in over the internet than likely you picked up some nasty trojan somewhere trying to open a back door to either use your machine or get info form it.

Could be something as simple as a portscanner or a web spider crawling along ip addresses.
But to be on the safe side, I would make sure you have an operating firewall as the others suggested. And be sure to run an AV program daily/nightly.

Someone has detected that you have an incoming connection available if this is directly trying to connect to your PC. Open network connections and look for an incoming connections item in the list. If so, either delete it or disable it by right clicking on it.

Sounds like a potential security issue. Do you have a firewall? Are you on a network? Secure network?

Install or use your firewall, they are free. Windows XP has a firewall built into it, otherwise download one from download.com
