No, but there are some really disturbing things going on out there that can make me feel a little bit like that.
1. There are lines at fast food restauants. Why would a person wait for that crap? If there's a long line, then it's not fast!
2. People watch way too much TV and it's making us sooooo one-dimensional. I can't bring up Vonnegut without someone wanting to talk about Seinfeld. We are becoming a bunch of stupid lemmings who'd rather watch other people live on TV then do some living ourselves. We aren't hungry for the pursuit of happiness anymore - we just want to know if the cable's out.

I still believe there are a few good people in the world. I mean in general people suck, but there are a few people I hang out with that are very sweet and generous, and actually care about others. So I guess I have not given up completely.

well, it is true that some people r becoming less humane and more shallow every day
but there is hopefully still hope!!! lol
i would suggest that we should start by ourselves
being kind, friendly and making less enemies
then people would copy us and the humanity will exist

Yes, for the most part.
Every now and then, I find a human that will suprise me with their intelligence, compassion, and attitude towards the world, but not very often.
I'm very disappointed in our race......the human race.
