What OS are you using and what type of speakers do you have? Like mine on this computer are the Surround sound with 5 speakers and a big base amp. From your statement I am guessing that you have already gone into Control Panel and checked all options to make sure they are set for your type of speakers. Does the power light come on and will they pop when you un-plug them? Did they work before and just quit, or what?

Check the connection where the speaker plugs into your computer. It should be plugged into the green port on your sound device.

Good luck!

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
