Vampire= Underworld (I+II) as they've taken a really interesting part of the whole vampire/werewolf story and built on it.
Horror= Saw (again, I+II) as they're the first horror films I've seen for ages where I couldn't predict what was likely to happen- plus they're pretty gory!
