A remote island where all the lifeboats are gone and the tide is eroding the ever shrinking land mass. Gates is not going to be Bush's or our countries Soldiers great savior. He was a prime figure in the Iran-Contra affair who has proven his loyalty to those that support the neo-con agenda. Hopefully will give him a resounding "no" vote, but more than likely, the Dems will let him in as not to look politically defiant against Bush any more than they already are.
