I'd say ds with ipod because that's what i have ;-) And it gives you more variety. If you get a ds with a psp you are just going to have two handheld gaming systems. If you get ds with wii you are just going to have two nintendo systems. If you get the ds with the ipod you will have a gaming system AND you can listen to music while you play it ;-)

Go with the Ipod DS combo. The graphics on the Wii are'nt too hot, and it will only be a matter of time before Microsoft puts out a new Xbox. You should wait until Jan. to buy that Ipod because Apple is coming out with an iphone. Combo of a cellphone and an Ipod. Waaaayyyyy better to wait for that. Otherwise, it might not hurt to check out more info on all the products. I used (http://www.wize.com) to pick out some new DS games last week.

With $500 you will desire to purchase the two, and 1000's of video games. i've got have been given the two. they're the two exciting of their own superb. PSP has extra useful pictures and once you first load the interest you won't have the ability to have self belief how extensive the demonstrate screen is and how super interestingly. the disadvantage to the PSP is that this is form of comfortable, and the sound is somewhat vulnerable. The DS has video games that are somewhat extra exciting, and extra determination. there's a lot of "minute video games" (short-term video games) which you do no longer would desire to dedicate a super style of time to. no longer only that, besides the fact that this is form of exciting to apply the stylus. certainly one of my first video games grow to be observed as "Trauma center" (or some thing like that), and you get to do surgical operation with the stylus! additionally, in order that which you realize, they're making plans on doing a re-layout on the PSP and making it slimmer, that could drop the value quickly of the present kind. The DS Lite got here out no longer too previously so i do no longer assume a cost drop each time quickly. i offered my PSP Oct. 2005 while the value dropped to $199. i think of you may get it now for $169 at EB video games. The DS Lite is $129, so which you will honestly get the two with $500.

DS and iPod. Then, you can take both on the road, and listen to your iPod and play DS at the same time. You can even create a playlist for each DS game, instead of listening to the music that comes w/ the DS games. Real music beats the game music almost every time :)

I never played a DS, but i hear of amazing games that have come out for it..(Brain Age) and others..I have tested and played a Wii myself and it is extremely fun!! I'm getting one here in a few days..the PSP's on alot of their games have extremely long load times so it is not worth getting one unless u are a patient person..the iPods are great!! if u want a tremendous amount of songs and videos and pics..I recommend getting the 30gig one..hope I helped!!

That would depend on whether you prefer games or music.
Personally, I'd go for the DS/Wii, just because I'm a big Nintendo fan.

I suggest saving it up.
But, if you really have to, get a PSP and a Wii. A PSP can view movies, play music, play games, and also save up photos. The Wii is fun [And I, myself, hope to get it for Christmas], and is way cheaper than the 360 or PS3; also has more player-game interaction thanks to its odd controls.
