Yes, if you know which internet browser they are using to access the website, it is a pretty simple task but If they are using other than Internet explore browser you need to do different task for it. You can use the Windows 'Hosts' file to block a website on internet explore.

here's how:

Note:- read it carefully

In Windows XP, the hosts file is found here:

C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts

Once you have found the hosts file, right click it and select Properties. Uncheck the "Read-Only" attribute (if checked). Click OK.

Double click the 'Hosts' file and select "Notepad" from the list of programs to open it with.

Once you have the hosts file open in Notepad, you will see an entry such as:

127.0.0.1 localhost

To block a certain web page from loading, add the following:

127.0.0.1 www.webpage.com

Your Hosts file will now look like this:

127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 www.webpage.com

Add as many web addresses as you like in the same fashion.

Once you are finished, go up to 'File' and click 'Save'.

The web pages listed in your 'Hosts' file should be blocked from access. It may be necessary for you to reboot your computer for these changes to take effect.

You can add a parental controls filter through your ISP or if you want to specifically restrict just this site you can do that by adding it to the "blocked sites" list in your firewall. Personally I find this method has far greater finesse that parental controls which can bar site like WikiPedia which your kids may want to use legitimately for homework.

Windows XP firewall is pretty hopeless for this task, but if you're using a router the inbuilt firewalls are pretty flexible and have the advantages of blocking all PC's that try to connect to the miscreant site.

Being practical about it, you can't really - sure there are various filters and goodness knows what but if your kids are interested in finding porn, they WILL find it on the net.

So long as they are well balanced kids, it is unlikely to do them any real harm.

The net was never really designed for children - and although thay find great use for it, it is always going to be an "adult based" facility with adult topics lurking around.

The best way for you to restrict the access they have is to install a parental control program.. It could handle all the sites and not just teen.com.

Try downloading or getting a parental control security program. I believe norton has it or you can also check your ISP if they have a free security program included in your dsl service. :)

Unfortunately there is a lot of porn on the internet, have you tried the parental controls which are parts of the bt.com package?

there are parental controls that you can use to block the internet sites that you do not want your children to visit. This will not allow them to go to any site that is blocked.

what do you mean what can you do? you are the parent. don't let your kids on the computer unless you are watching over them. if they have puters in there room then take them out. make it a rule that your child is not allowed on line if you are not at home. you can change all pass words and don't tell them what it is that way you have to put them on line and can watch them.like i said you are the parent.

I would get a proxy program like netnanny, or even macafee has parental controls. You can specify to block all porn and even go one step further and tell it to block specific web sites: like www.teens.com & www.myspace.com, etc.
