PAUL HEYMAN GOT FIRED.

Vince was furious about the December to Dismember PPV. He said it didnt fit the new out look for ECW. He said Heyman is living in the past to much. I'm not sure if that is why he got fired, but that much is true.

ECW will never be accepted by the ECW fanbase with anyone other than Paul Heyman controlling the booking.

Vince and Stephanie McMahon had controlled all aspects of ECW booking since the 2nd week of the revived promotion, and they have run it into the ground.

Anyone who has followed Paul Heyman's booking from the original ECW to his short run in OVW can clearly see that he has had very little to do with the creative dept and storylines of the new ECW. McMahon's fingerprints are all over it. Much like the XFL, he ran it into the ground, and it is seen as a failure by the majority of classic ECW fans.

TNA and ROH will welcome Heyman with open arms to book their programs and to work as an on-screen character. WWE has kept him this long just to keep him away from the competition (Stephanie has pushed for his termination for years now).

I read about it today. I'm suprised that they fired him seeing as how Paul was the one who brought back ECW.

I wonder who their gonna get to replace Paul? I'm hoping that their not gonna bring in either Stephanie McMahon, Eric Bischoff or Shane McMahon to take over because they would ruin it. IMO, whoever they bring in to replace Paul should be a former wrestler of ECW...someone who knows ECW inside and out.

Like I said in another answer-since June, Vince has been shoving down our thoughts as much ECW as humanly possible.
He never gave us time to digest any of it.

P.S.-That arena held over 10,000 people-they sold about 2,000 tickets. That's a WWE first.
