After engagement, is it normal for a girl to say I will throw my ring off, or I will buy new dress and spend your money?

Um, no...I think you've got yourself what we like to call a "high-maintenance" fiancee. You may want to re-assess your situation before you get married.

You have asked a very confusing question.

By after engagement do you mean that you are now married? Or do you mean...egagement broken off?

If you mean now married....then "no" concerning the ring throwing and a quite possible maybe or yes on the spending of money on clothes and in general.

If you mean broken engagement then yes on the throwing of rings and no on the spending of money.

If you mean...you just got engaged and your wondering about the time period during engagement??? Then no on the throwing of rings and a quite possible yes on the buying of new dresses and spending of money.

After you're engaged, it should be business as usual. Engagement is a time for you to both plan the wedding, not make that an excuse for your fiancee to spend extra money. if she's threatening to throw her ring out, maybe it's time for you to get some relationship counselling before you make that kind of commitment.

Did you, perhaps, believe that asking her to marry you and getting engaged would change her in any way? Sorry, but, it seems like you should know her better before moving on in such a serious thing as marriage. Good luck!

i wouldn't say that your situation would be normal. if she is threatening to throw her ring away, you may want to re-think your engagement before you actually get married. make sure you KNOW that she loves you just as much as you love her, make sure she really wants this.... don't rush in to it. Good Luck

UNLESS YOU ARE ACCEPTIVE OF THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOR YOU MAY WANT TO SIT DOWN AND TALK ABOUT THESE ACTIONS. IT MAY BE A GOOD IDEA TO SET SOME GUIDELINES ON WHAT EACH OF YOU EXPECT FROM YOUR RELATIONSHIP BEFORE YOU COMMIT AND POSSIBLY REGRET IT LATER. ALSO, SHE SOUNDS LIKE SHE MAY STILL BE A LITTLE IMMATURE AND NOT READY FOR THE STRESS AND RESPONSIBILITY THAT SUCH A COMMITMENT REQUIRES.

There are obviously some issues here. Are you sure you want to have a life time of emotional blackmail?
