Well you see I have an interesting theory on this. I know this is based on the USA and I apologise for this.
But to answer a question with a question. If Christopher Columbus who is widely refuted to have at least comandeered America had gone the "other" way, is it possible he would have in fact fallen off the edge of the world?
I know the scientific answer to this but think of the faith-based ramifications! Or in fact the conspiracy theory of our fate having not been decided yet.
