well I'm glad she decided to take responsibility for her actions and keep the baby..she is after all an adult! I do believe that she can get a job..they can not discriminate against her for being pregnant..she may be tired yes..however there are many moms out there who have other children at home and still work while being pregnant! Tell her to wake up and get a job and start saving for her baby because baby showers only help so much..this baby is her responsibility for the next 18 years atleast..and it takes a lot of money to raise a baby! GOOD LUCK

It seems like you don't really understand what having a baby is about. Every baby is different, different sleeping patterns, different eating patterns, some cry more than others. In certain ways yes, a baby does tie you down but it doesn't mean you can't go out, my daughter slept right through fro 10pm to 8am from the time she was 5weeks old. If your tired you sleep when the baby sleeps so you aren't always tired. You say you will stand by her but you seem to be very down on the whole situation. Having a baby is a huge responsibility but a fantastic experience.

Im a single dad and i think she has a good friend in you. I hope you stick around and spend time with her because being a parent is hard work, i've been doing it almost 10 years alone and am only just starting to get a bit of my life back. With family support and good friends around her the child will have a better quality of life and that who matters here the most, the baby!

Does she have a strong family ties that can help?Sound like she can help from you!Yeah it might be hard to raise a child but single mom's can do it no better then not single.Their is so many programs out there that help single moms.
Adoption is a great thing an open adoption is even better to have.Because if she wanted she can still she the baby but she will be raised by parents that you choose to parent her child. So many people can't have kids and would love to have one.

You can never be ready for a baby. But when you have a baby and there is love for the child anything is possible. For my child I would do anything, If he is crying, changing diapers, or anything he does, it does not bother me at all because if I decided to have a child I decided to responsible as well. It's a beautiful thing when you want your child.

There are things you can do to prevent getting pregnant in the first place. But it's too late for your friend. All you can do is be there for her. Have a baby shower once she's farther along.

your only pregnant for 9 months...so im not sure you mean 21/2 months...your friend got herself in this situation...obviously no protection was used and now she has created a baby and will need to grow up fast so that she is able to love and support her baby...if the babys father isnt a man enough to stick around then he shouldnt have the right to say he is going to be a father...she'll probably do a better job without him
