I imagine you want to block a site to prevent your children from accessing it. If this is correct then What you need is a filter program an your computer to prevent this .
there are numerous on the net for a reasonable sum.
There are also free filters available .One that i have installed in numerous computers is Naomi ,Works very well and is totally free. Click the link below for details.

Yep, its easy to block a site through internet option- click the internet icon on the status bar and then-click restricted sites icon that you want to block and add the websites there to get it blocked.

If you install a firewall you can block access to specific sites. You would be surprised at what software on your pc tries to connect to the net, which I think is where your coming from. Regards...

I'm not sure I understand your question, if you want to stop your children accessing a site then you need some kind of parental control software. If you keep getting pop ups from a particular site then you want to get an anti-spyware tool, such as ad aware. www.lavasoft.com

Sorry but I don't really understand your question. You can't block a website because you choose to visit them. Can you give a bit more info.

You could edit you "hosts" file.
Use google and search for "hosts file"

go to "tools" then "internet options" then restricted sites and add them there.
