ummm, yeah! Unless you don't care if anyone in the future lives or dies. If you're looking for specific opinions, .. maybe redefine your question. If you have a soul you care.

Funny you should mention that. I just finished a Michael Crichton book called "State of Fear" about environmental concerns. I tend to pay alot of attention to these thing, and what's interesting about this book is the amount of actual empirical data showing that global warming is NOT occuring. I mean, the book is half footnotes and things you can actually look up. I'd have to say I don't consider it a primary issue, not just after reading this, but from other sources outside the usual news media outlets and entertainment industry concerts and benefits. Look carefully into the case AGAINST global warming.

Global warming is a myth, sorry to tell you that. When satellites measure the Earth's temperature, they get the same temperature. Remember, most people only observe a small area, and say that the whole world is warming up. Also, studies show that the world was significantly hotter 200 years ago!

While we may have an especially hot summer, someone else might be having an especially cold winter. So you have to measure the whole Earth's temperature.

Lastly, while some polar ice caps are melting, others are steadily growing! (They never mention that, do they? =)

I hope this helps!

Yes I am. I recommend everyone renting 'Inconvient Truths'. Global warming is upon us..unfortunately people won't care or do anything until it is too late.

The Home Computer was once touted as a cure for commuting ills, yet we commute even more now, so, no, I doubt there is a cure we can all use to fix nature.
