I went to the doctor yesterday and he decided to do another sonogram to make sure we had the due date right becuz I told him theres no way I got pregnant in June it had to be the original due date of Feb 20th. So anyways when he does the sonogram the babys head is 29 weeks even, the spine 29 weeks and 2 days, the legs 30 weeks and 2 days, and the abdomen 25 weeks and 3 days. He didn't seem worried really he said the baby will probably just take after me and the father cuz we are both tall and thin. Should I worry about this I mean that seems dangerous?

What is more important that the measurement at that scan, is the trend of how the baby is growing. see if you have any older scan reports / ask your doctor for them, and then you can compare the growth of your baby. If your baby's abdomen has always been on the 50% line (for example), and continues to be such, there is nothing to worry about, even if the other measurements are on the 70% line (for example). However, if your baby started at the 50% line, and at this scan has dropped to the 10% line, that is definately something to worry about. Babies who are not getting enough blood supply through their placenta will have a small abdomen that doesn't grow with each scan. Make sure your doctor has taken your previous scans into consideration and not given you false reassurance.

If he's not worried then you shouldn't really be either. My nephew was long and thin when he came out.. all legs really. He's a perfectly healthy 18 month old and he actually started walking early cause he just couldn't stay off those legs lol. :)

the baby is fine. it has to do with the space in you uterus. my uterus stop growing at 32 weeks with my kids and they are fine. they did some extra test with my youngest because his legs were at 34 at 38 weeks along but his head and spine measured fine. If your doc is fine with it you should trust him.
