Clean out your rabbit's cage. That will reduce the smell.

Neuter it. That will reduce the smell of the urine.

Cleaning the cage with vinegar is good, or use Nature's Miracle, baking soda or Odoban- some sort of odor reducer.

Take it for walks outside on a harness, or allow it to run around a non-carpeted room for several hours a day. Play with the bunny. Exercise will reduce his hyperness!

I'm willing to guess that your rabbit is not neutered or spayed. If you get it fixed then the smell and hyperactivity will go away for the most part. However it sounds like your mom wouldn't put the money out for that. I suggest you bring it to a shelter or to the House Rabbit Society http://www.rabbit.org so it can find a home where everyone will love it. If you leave it at the beach it will die.

If it is real smelly you should take it to the vet to make sure there is nothing wrong with it. Keep the cage clean and be sure to change its water daily. Bunnies to stink when the cage is dirty.

Keep the cage outside and make sure you clean it weekly. Do NOT leave it at the beach...give it back to the pet store and place an AD in the paper if you can't handle it.

Rabbit urine can be strong smelling, so be sure to keep the cage clean. If you are not feeding it the right food, it can have loose stools. Rabbit poop should be dry, brown, round, and firm. If it isn't, make sure you are giving him hay and pellets, and cut way back on treats and fresh foods.

You shouldn't have to bathe a rabbit. So if the rabbit itself smells, maybe take it to a vet.

i've got had the two, and rats are extra exciting and interactive. the two animals will p.c. a extensive cage. the rabbit cage will probable take in extra floor area, however the rats, at the same time as nevertheless wanting a extensive cage, would have extra top to it, so will take in much less floor area. rabbits scent extra effective than rats do. rats are extra handy and purifier to look after. the two puppy will p.c. get right of entry to to a sturdy small animal vet. of the two, I lots prefer rats. they're friendlier, extra affectionate, purifier, extra smart and that they form lots extra suitable bonds with you. rats can take a seat on your shoulder or snooze on your clothing at the same time as you relax in the night. they're the two super pets, yet rats are the main suitable. this is significant to remember which you particularly p.c. a minimum of two rats of the comparable intercourse. they're tremendously social (that's between the main motives they make such super pets) and this is merciless to maintain only one on their own.
