I would suggest a gift card that can be used anywhere. This way she can get what she wants and won't be disappointed getting something she neither wanted nor had any use for. 13 yr old girls are difficult to buy for even if you are the kid's parent. If you are worried that she will think you didn't care about what you gave her just add a note with the card that now she can get whatever she Really wants. You might also add a couple of roses or some other kind of flowers (ask her mum) that she likes just to brighten up the gift a little. Hope that is of some help to you. Happy Christmas!

Well if you can't think of what to buy, just give her the money or a gift certificate so then she can decide and then you don't have to.
If you don't want to do that jewelry is always cool or beauty stuff like make-up or a nice lotion and bath set.

I'm not sure about her but I don't like getting clothes unless it is something I have seen at the store, told someone I like it, and they got it for me.

Anyway, it is the thought that counts, so whatever you get her I sure she'll love it.

a gift certicate for a local music shop in her area. unless you know exactly what music she has already and wants in particular, a gift certificate is perfect cuz then she can go and buy what she wants. try to have the gift certicate cover at least the cost of one or two CD's, etc.

or...... you could ask her to give you a list of up to 5 things she's hoping to get for Christmas. ask her to list small things as well as big things, and to mark on the list which things are most important to her. tell her that 'santa' needs to know... lol.. this always worked well with my sons when they were teens, cuz it allowed me to choose from the list what I could afford. and it helped me later on when choosing gifts for them if they didn't get something on their list, cuz I could get it when I had the money or saw it on sale or something. it also helps the teen to actually focus on which things s/he actually wants, rather than hoping for everything the world has to offer. lol..

French manicure voucher from a local nail salon/spa. She'll love the pampering.

A subscription to a magazine. Cosmo girl, vogue girl, or something else of interest to her. I got my little sister a subscription to an Anime magazine. She loved it and it was really inexpensive.

Either clothes if you know her size or I would prefer a beauty kit i.e. make-up or nail kit or even both in a nice case.
