Historians have proven through their discoveries, thus statistics prove that
Judaism, Islam, and Christianity has its roots long before the book of Genesis.
These 3 religions have their roots in the Aryan Civilization and Aryan Religion in India which began 2,800 years before Geneis. "Historians 'already' have proven this !! This is Fact !!
Many can choose to believe in there religious scriptures which religious man wrote, but the Facts still And Always remain "The Facts.'
READ ONCE MORE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THOSE 2 RELIGIOUS CIVILIZATIONS, AND YOU'LL SEE (FROM READING THE FACTS) THAT JUDAISM, CHRISTIANITY AND ISLAM HAS THEIR ROOTS IN THE "ARYAN CIVILAZATION & IT'S RELIGION !!"
Christianity and Islam are two very large religions in the world only because they're sole purpose in life is to convert the confused, insecure, lonely people of the world to their religions. The 3 largest religions FEAR what doesn't exist=GOD.

Neither one.... Judaism originated is the root religion upon which all other religious systems are based. Christianity came from it as Jesus was Jewish. Islam came from it as Mohammed was strongly influenced by both the Jewish culture and the Christian culture (Catholic)... The Arayan and Buddist cultures stemmed from the idolatrous system of religion that developed following the flood, at the Tower of Babel. There Nimrod and his wife Semiramis turned from the worship of One God to idols. Semiramis was referred to as the "Queen of Heaven" and she developed a very violent idolatrous system, making her husband a 'god' then after she had him killed... she made her son a 'god' who in turn killed his mother... But from the mindset that developped here... Hinduism, Buddism, Panthiesm, and animism all grew. In a search on google look for 'Semiramis, queen of heaven and Nimrod." It is an interesting study into ancient religions. You will see a lot of similarities between their religious system and the Roman Catholics as well as other world religions today.

A Deep Question
Islam have a different interesting view about that. In islam its said that God had sent to each nation a messenger, to guide them to his way.
According to Islam, there have been 113 messengers and 124 thousand prophet. Each of them taught basically the same priniciples with minor differences(comparatively). They all agreed on the prinicple of monothiesm and and the essense of morals and the importance of being prepared for the afterlife.
Yet we are left with differences between the belief systems, in islam its said that all of that is attributed to diversion to the original revealation. So thats might be one way to look at it.
If you wanted to ask about Islam anyfurther, you can alwasy IM me on this user

Hmm, dont know which one he belonged to of the top of my head but almost all modern aspects of all three can be attributed to the prophet Zarathustra (born sometime around 1300-1200 B.C in present day NE Iran) who's revelations form the basic foundations of religious beliefs as we know them.
One-God, heaven, the devil, the messiah, the struggle between good and evil. The basic concepts all come from his teachings and have evolved over the years into what we now know them as.
Try "In Search of Zarathustra" by Paul Kriwaczek - great read, lots of cultural history.

Neither. Judaism, the forefather of both christianity and Islam started between the Nile and Euphrates valleys in answer to the hedonistic, violent nations of the time.

No. Judaism had its roots begin with Abram when he left Ur for Canaan. Christianity has its roots out of Judaism within Jerusalem.
Your trace is very flawed.

The similarities of present day religions all seem to point to the Sumerians, about 8,000 years ago.
