They're right in some instances.
I've been an advocate of put some detainees into a plush hotel with room service, cable TV and an Xbox to play with.
Then tell them we're going to send them back to the Mountains of Afghan and see how they react after 3 years of Hitlon Room service.
All the CIA is doing is treating them how the terrorist training camps treated them. They sleep on the hard floor and eat dust.
That's supposed to BREAK them! That's how they've lived forever!
Let them watch the Al Queda leaders in outtakes on CNN walking around in Nikes. That would give them a dose of reality!
We should be handing out Big Macs, 401 JEans, XBoxes in Iraq.
How would AL Queda fight that!
Time Warner should be in their wiring all the homes for cable!
We should be brining in Amana Air Conditioners Fridigadare refrigerators and making sure they have electricity 24/7/365
How would Al Qudeda fight that!
America's BEST export is AMERICANISM, but we aren't doing that there!
We aren't Building a Disneyland in Bagdad!\
Look what WE and the Japanese did to mainland China in just 20 years! Mao is rolling in his grave!

You can fight fire with fire. But if there is a big fire in one country (lets say Afghanistan) and you fight it with a little candle, that doesn't work. And then if there is another little fire (lets say Iraq) and you fight it with an explosion, that doesn't work either. maybe we should actually put our efforts into the real terrorist spots and not false ones.

Liberals don't understand that there is no negotiating with certain types of people. And we do still fight them like organized crime also. If we catch them we put them in jail and give them a trial. But if they attack us, (Like there doing in Iraq and are starting to do again in Afghanistan) we will fight back.

Two wrongs don't make a right, but at the risk of being anything less than a man - I will fight til I'm dead.

I stumbled on the prepare in Australia the position they strive against hearth with hearth. they have an inclination to apply it in bush fires yet I understand the technique is likewise used international wide. if truth be told, the technique is used even as there is an out of control bush hearth. yet another (managed) bush hearth is all started interior the route of the out of control bush hearth. This managed bush hearth burns the plant life interior the route of the out of control bush hearth. As such, the out of control bush hearth ought to have not some thing to burn even as it reaches the burnt out plant life. this way the out of control bush hearth will die out. i assume it is the position the affirming 'battling hearth with hearth' stems from. it is likewise a technique suggested when you're trapped interior the route of a out of control bush hearth - commence yet another bush hearth and stay interior the burnt plant life.

We're not fighting a wild fire. Doing what you are apparently advocating would result in thousands of civilian deaths. We don't have a moral right to do that and I don't want their deaths on my conscious. Iraqi or Iranian or Afghan civilians are not expendable just to keep me safe.

It doesn't work with terrorists because it just angers people and gives the terrorists new recruits. read: it makes the whole terrorism problem worse.
Clinton had the right idea - don't play the terrorists' game - treat them as organized crime rather than as a national threat which they are not.
wow. watch them downvote me. can't handle the truth, can they?
