I know I'm male but perhaps that will help me have some better ideas. You don't say what you want to spend but how about a flight in a hot air balloon or if he is interested in flying a flight in a simulator at one of the airlines. Another one that you could both enjoy is a journey and dinner or lunch on the Orient Express. See the Internet for these options and probably many more. Hope you find something.

Get yourself an outfit that he would really love, with appropriate underwear. Then give him an evening he will always remember. If you want to give him something to unwrap, I think you can buy "sex cheques" (or something like that) from novelty gift shops.
