Has anyone ever gotten the big prize? Is there a trick to the claw machine to grab the big prize?

I used to work in a restaurant that had one in it and me and fellow employees would play it out of boredom and we figured out that if you pushed the button two times fast it would lock the claw onto the prize. But then the machine rental company took that one away and brought a new one (I guess we were winning too much) and we couldn't figure out the trick to the new one. I guess each one is different. I think for the most part they "engage" the claw to lock just about once for every 8-10 times it drops, so that if you see someone win, you go put your money in and it screws you several times in a row before it lets someone win again.

I don't know about a big prize, but with the stuffed animals, just grab a thick part, like their butt or head and pull from there. I win all the time!

Yeah, the trick is to be the one random person out of every 20 or so that it actually engages the claw correctly for, so that you can pick up whatever you want.

I can clean the machine out in around 10 minutes.

There has to be a trick....heck, I can't even get one of the .25 cent stuffed animals!!
