I have a home-made comp that me and my friend built (honestly he did it all :P i just watched). Anyway, I left a whole open and dust has compiled into great amounts. I'd like to know how to clean it out =\ safely...thnx for ur help.

You need to leave a hole open for air to circulate into and out of the case so don't seal it up.

The dust can be removed using a can of compressed air available at any store that sells computers. Turn the machine off disconnect it and take it outside. Use the compressed air to blow out the dust.

Its really simple, i just buy a can of that compressed air that you can buy at office depot or circuit city and spray all that dust out. I would do it quickly because to much dust can be very dangerous.

Dust-Off or compressed air in a bottle that you can buy at your local office supply store (same one used to clean keyboards).

Air compressor, take it to a garage and blow air into it from the tire pumps.

Cheap and a good time.....

i blow it out with compressed air and use a vacuum to help with the dust...

use a duster or something, just make sure it is static-free first.
