Best Black SUPERHERO of all time...? Gotta go with Luke "Power Man" Cage. He went from a joke side kick, complete with steroe-typical superpowers (A Black man with Super Strength and BULLETPROOF skin?! Who'd have thought!) to an A-list hero. See the recent New Avengers Civil war tie in feature Luke Cage for more info on how kickass he's become! And unlike T'challa he had to overcome the "poor black man stereotype" of the 70s.

Mari (Vixen) McCabe-- I have to admit, I'm prejudiced-- in her favor. She's hotter than Storm! I also liked and respected Black Lightning way back when, despire the fact that he was cooked up as a blaxploitation character.
Jim Rhodes is also way up there, this is why:
Reed Richards needed to cannibalize some parts from Iron Man's armor (Jim Rhodes was Iron Man at the time, but nobody realized that he was not the original Iron Man.) With some of his armor removed, it was obvious that he was black, even though his face could not be seen.
He asked Reed, "Were you surprised to learn there was a black man in the armor?"
I love the way Reed answered: "No, I always knew there was a MAN inside."

Black Panther from Marvel Comics. He survived the "blacksploitation" era of the '70s and early '80s, and the quick buck era of the '90s, and has become a legitimate hero as opposed to just being a black hero.

Zula-
He was one of conan's allies in some of the conan the barbarian comic book series.
BTW- he is also the most powerfull black "superhero". He was a swordsman who studied magic and became ultra powerfull enough to train with the greatest sorcerer of conan's time.

Black Panther. He is the only person to be black and a hero that is not the stereotype of being black. Most black heroes were created because they were black, and that was it. That was their character. This stereotype was beaten by the panther who is from Africa, but besides that, his color has nothing to do with his character.
The Panther is one of the most feared characters is Marvel and is rich and compelling. Look at other Warrior King characters. Doom, Namor, Aquaman, and Black Adam. All have their pros, but they do not match up to the Panther when it comes to character.
