for my chrome i actually use the "Stainless Steel Wipes", not only do i use it on my stovetop but also on my other chrome appliances, and it doesn't streak at all! you can find them at Home Depot, Linens & Things, Bed Bath Beyond etc.....

Stainless steel cleaner, because unless it's a toaster it's probably not chrome it's stainless steel, which is why they won't look shiny like the bumber of an old buick.

After cleaning spray with a little windex and wipe. That usually helps with streaks.

go to manufactors instuctions they always recomend a certain cleaner which is available at reasonable cost where the appliance was purchased
