Do you guys think that the archdiocese in LA should have to turn over their personel files about the priest?

Question

who are accused of molesting children in their parishes? Should They the people in charge face criminal charges for leaving known pedifiles in positions that delt with children and who in some cases reaffend by molesting more children?
Just so you know I think that they should be. I mean I understand that they can confess and not get narked out by the preist but if a superior knows they molest then they are obligated to protect the children from it recurring and if they leave them with access then they are responsible as well. Right?

They should be charged as accessories to the crimes commited by the molesters. End of story. No excuses, no claim of religious protections, nothing. It's utterly unacceptable that they could withhold information to begin with, let alone harbor career criminals for years.

If the Catholic Church is going to act like an organized crime operation, fine. They should be treated as such. The instances of child rape and sexual abuse are obviously rampant throughout the entire outfit, and have been for decades. I see no difference between a religious organization that uses a legitmate operation to cover for illegal activities, and a non-religious organization that does the same.

It amazes me that there is even a debate aout this! How do people justify this kind of behavior just because it's a religious sect? Would it be tolerated from, say, a Muslim religious organization? Branch Davidians?

Absolutely. I think it is disgusting that the church would protect child predators. It says a lot about religion today. It's not ok to be gay and sleep with someone legal but it is ok to rape small children. Sick.

particular. yet i'm grew to become off by employing over-use of profanity by employing all and sundry. i'm getting uncomfortable around all and sundry who can't use an adjective devoid of including profanity to it. whats up, I swear too, yet while i take advantage of extra effective than one curse consistent with sentence, i'm many times shouting mad. i attempt to decrease cursing around females, in the workplace, maximum public places, and in no way, ever, ever curse around infants. in case you won't have the ability to demonstrate screen/administration what comes out of your mouth, I many times do no longer p.c. to hold around you.

i think those priest should get charged and put in jail!! just because they call themselves sons of GOD doesn't mean they really are... i hope they get there good years in prison... may GOD have mercy....
