I have been on the pill for 5 months now. and i was just wondering if its bad that sometimes I take the pill anytime between 9-11 am if thats risky.

It's not perfect use. Perfect use (which is what you need to get the highest effectiveness) means taking it within about a half hour of the same time every day. However, a lot of doctors will tell you that it's okay to do what you are doing, and you are still very well protected if you only have a brief window in which you take it. If it troubles you, buy a wristwatch and set the alarm for when you want to take your pill. That's worked very well for me.

I am on the Yaz Birth control pill and I have been taking mine every day for a few months now anytime between 10-11. My doctor said that is fine....Usually you have a window of about two hours to gaurentee protection to its full capacity. (Again it's not perfect!) Hope that helps.

Hi there !
Some brands are .."same time everyday"....
but later "newer brands" have come, which can be taken at "anytime" of the day....or night..
but whatever "brand" it is, better to stick on the "same time everyday" because, you will NOT forget...

As long as you take it around the same time every day you should be all right.

you are supposed tyo take it in the same time frame every day so you should be fine...
i took my pill at exactally noon everyday and i still got pregnant so nothing is 100%
