I think lost cannot be defined in one theory, because it would be predictable after it was defined, the writers really don't limit themselves. with theories and rules.

What is the hollow earth theory?
Remember how Desmond tried to leave and just ended up back there? When the Others sent Michael off, they told him a compass heading to follow and he'd get out. The Others have contact with the outside world. Someone, I think it was either Ben or Desmond?, made a comment once about being in a snow globe. That makes the most sense to me. The electro magnetic whatchamacallit maybe created a bubble of some sort where no one can see them, they can't get out....

I don't know what is going on, but I do wish that they would give an explaination for something because it is the third season and it would be nice for them to clarify at least ONE thing.
