I had my last period on Nov 6th and it is now Dec 5th. I had "protected" sex using a male condom on Nov 11th. The condom didn't break or leak. Should I be worried about pregnancy? It's 29 days since Nov 6th. However, I know some cycles for women are 30 - 35 days...

Thanks to those who reply! It's appreciated!

I would try not to worry about it. Stress can cause you to be late or too miss a period all together.

However in the future I would recommend using a second kind of birth control as a back up. This may help you to relax and ease your mind a bit. Even if you just use some kind of lube with spermicide in it.

I hope that helps!

It's a bit early to start worrying. If you are young, your cycles are more likely to be irregular. For your own peace of mind, in the future you may want to keep track of when each period starts on a calendar or checkbook register. Then you know when to expect it coming.

The odds of getting pregnant off a single act of condomed sex are less than one in a hundred. A lot of things can delay your period, including stress about fearing if you are pregnant. Give it another week and then take a pregnancy test. You also might be more reassured in the future if you combined methods of birth control... like condom + b.c. pill.

First, relax - if you used the condom correctly and it didn't break, then it is highly unlikely that you are pregnant. You still could be, but not very likely. However- STRESS can cause you to be late or skip a period completely. So consider taking a pregnancy test to be positive, and then you can stop stressing.

Also, if you are not on birth control, your period can change over time. Mine started short and far apart, and then switched to long and close together (then I went on the pill and now they are regulated) Women's periods change over time and don't stay the same during the entirety of our child-bearing years.

try not to worry too much, or that can delay your period too. how regular are u? if u are exactly the same day every month, yo may worry. but a normal cycle can be anywhere from 25-35 days. Don't worry too much, you should be good, and good job usung a condom

Well, it can be your period getting out of balance and changing, because it was protected sex. You can ask the hospital for birth control to straighten out your period. if not the case...take a pregnancy test. good luck and god bless.

It could mean nothing. If you're super worried go buy a pregnancy test to relieve your mind. I am often a few days late/early. Don't stress yourself out.

I wouldn't worry about it right now.Give yourself another week and if you don't get it by then,go see your doctor for a pregnancy test and discuss it with him or her. It is normal for a woman to be late or to miss an occasional period.Don't worry too much right now hon.
