I recently had a contraceptive implant put in. & I havent had a period for two months. Since the implant was put in I've been feeling very sensitive and vulnerable. I cry alot & I dont know how to make it stop. I'm always tired and things that usually dont bother me are hurting more than ever. anyone know what I could do?

It's probably a hormonal imbalance and most likely a side effect of the drug or drugs (hormones) in the implant. You should google the implant or the company that makes it and see what the side effects are. Or you could talk to your doctor.

Talk to ypur gynecologist. If this is a hormonal based implant, it could be effecting your mood, and will most likely subside over time. Have you read about the side effects of this implant? Do some research on your implant and go see your gyne regarding your symptoms and get a real answer from a qualified professional.

Maybe you should think about having the implant removed. Did your doctor tell you about any possible side affects or reactions your body can have? My aunt had one of those put in and had nothing but problems, she got very emotional also, only in her case she lost a lot of blood, and became anemic. When women go through PMS or menapause they get very emotional so when your cycle is thrown off, same thing. You should contact your doctor and tell him/her how you are feeling.

If you've had a hormonal implant, chances are that its messing with your own hormones.

Proably because you just had surgery. If you keep feeling bad, seek a therapist.
