You are confronted with the following formula:

A * [(B + C)(D - E) - F(G*H) ] / J = 10

Knowing that each variable is a unique, single-digit, nonzero number, and that C - B = 1, and H - G = 3, what is the number ABCDEFGHJ, where each letter is a digit? For example, if A = 4, B = 2, and C = 7, ABC would equal 427.
A=?
B=?
C=?
E=?
F=?
G=?
H=?
J=?

I need the answers....................................Please.

C-B=1
C= B+1 (which indicate that number B and C must be next to each other)
H-G=3
H=G+3
this make G*H must be 4 because if it is bigger than 4, the power will be too big since after power of 4, comes 10, 18, 28, 40 and 54.
so, G=1 , H=4.
A * [(B + C)(D - E) - F(G*H) ] / J = 10
A * [(B + C)(D - E) - F(1*4) ] / J = 10
this left number 2356789.
then [(B + C)(D - E) - F(1*4) ] = 10 J/A
J/A must be a number end with 0 and the only choice for that combination is
J = 6 8 6 9
A= 2 2 3 3
Because B and C next to each other , the sum of them must be an odd number. Consider that F will be extracted from them, it make F must also be an odd number.
So, just enter the left possible choice and you will get

enter the answer into the equation to prove it.

You are at least the 12th person in the last week to copy that formula blindly not noticing that it hasn't copied the power signs at all..
