I know this sounds strange but I am not really into paranormal things...but I just remembered that when I was 7 my sister and I went to Germany to visit family while my mother and father stayed in America....I was sitting alone on this hill, missing my father so I sat there very quite Meditating (even though i didnt know what meditating was). I tried over and over again to talk to my dad and i imagined where he was while i was trying to talk to him, at work. The next day my mom called me and said dad said that yesterday he could swear that you were talking to him at work and he kept hearing your voice! But as a child i wasnt really surprised and now thinking back Its amazing! does anyone believe in this kind of stuff or have an explanation

yes, i believe in those type things, i think when we are born,,,, we have more developed senses and acceptance for paranormal and other things, this side of ourselves gets pushed to the back, as we get busy with the details of life,,,,,,,alot of children, if you really listen to them, have great wisdom

Did you ever consider that maybe you had an out of body experience? This is so common. Alot of people when they sleep, whether they know it or not, astral travel. Children are usually more open to 'the strange and unexplained' because their minds aren't bogged down with 'that isn't possible' or 'there's no such thing'. Their minds aren't limited. We only use 10% of our brain, could you imagine what we could do if we used 25%? Anyway, I had a similar thing happen to me. My fiance works out of town and is only home Friday nights, Saturdays, and Sundays. I was having a bad day and needed him so badly. I sat in my recliner, lit a candle, and stared into it. After awhile, my eyesight went hazy and when I blinked I saw him sitting on his friend's couch (where he lives M-F) eating spaghetti talking to his friend about Jeeps. I wish I could explain this better but my body felt like it was in slow motion, but what I was seeing was at normal speed. It took me a few blinks after that to get me back into my living room staring at a candle. When he called later that evening, I asked him what he ate for supper, he said spaghetti and beer. I asked him if he was wearing his blue pullover and he said yes. I then asked him if him and Ed were talking about Jeeps. He seemed surprised and answered yes. I then asked him if he made a comment to Ed about taking a wrangler and extending the frame and turning it into a hot rod. He was speechless. My only logical explanation for my experience is astral traveling.

Few years ago I read a book who tells the Russians (during cold war) group a an strange paranormal unit capable to communicate or "see" many US military objetives using extrasensorial powers .

Few years ago I watch on History Channel a couple of programs called "The secret archives of the KGB". One of this "documentary" tells the history how Russian Scientifics made a group of medium with special "gifts".

One of them was capable to communicate with someone very far from where he is. Other one was also capable to "see" things very far where is located and make drawings who prove are real and accurate

I recommend you to watch this doccumentary if your interested in this stuff. I believe in this stuff because there are many things we ca not explain and we think is magic but those are the hidden powers of our mind (like David Blane levitation).

You said it yourself. You imagined you were talking to your dad and that he was talking to you. I could easily believe a father separated from his little girl would sit back and imagine conversing with her.
Nothing magic here. Just two people who love each other thinking about the other. Day-dreams can seem real some time.
I sometime put myself in a semi-self- hypnotic state in order to reach back in time to my infancy. It's interesting, but to be recommended.

you be surprised on who spiritual a child can be as when I was a child I use to be able to bend spoons with my mind however some were along my path I learned that was impossible so no long have the gift.
sadly it our modern world were sci and technology rule thus mental powers as they can not be qualified as 100 percent accurate have been throw out as myth and folklore

yeah, I believe in that sort of thing.

As a scientific person I'm not supposed to though.

Too much evidence for it though.

Telepathy is supposed to be not possible.

When you ask a silent question and get the answer too it out loud, it seems like proof enough. A good scientist doesn't ignore the data. He designs more experiments.

Amazing and unexplainable things happen all the time. Perhaps you have a special connection with your father, or a special talent you haven't explored. Study this and stay always aware of anything like this that may happen. If you understand it better, it may develop. I say hurray!

Either an exaggeration, lies or both.

You were away from your father, is it so strange that he may think he could hear you? Especially if you were young and he's used to you around the house.

it's possible, its not paranormal its just the bond you and your dad hold, kinda like twins but with dad and child, maybe he was missing you too and thats why he heard you
