It all depends on what type of an e-mail (application based or web based) you r using. Make sure the file extention is .xls.

there are few web pages that enable to upload in elementary words a particular format of the record. if the format that u r attempting to upload isn't known with techniques from them, u only cant upload them. so for this reason there in elementary words one thanks to upload that record is to ZIP in utilising win-zip or winRAR and then connect it to ur mail. this many of the time works. so examine this out
