Yes, my husband has and he is still the same person that I married. Not only that but I am not the same weight either. We have had 4 kids together and I am so tired of reading ppls responses of lack of self control or confidence or whatever. Not all fat comes from eating there are numerous reasons, quit being so narrow minded. I would be hurt if my husband left me because I gained weight after the children. My family is no where near being on the small side but I am going to the gym to work it off and to feel better about myself regardless of if he likes me like this or not. It is great that he still loves me but I have to love me also.

You mean other than a medical condition. Yes, because there isn't any sense in just eating all the time, you liked them the way you met them not a different person, Some people think after they marry it's okay to eat whatever you want because you have got them That is sure way of losing them. Keep you weight down have your scale close weigh at least every 3 or 4 days and you see those pounds coming on, start dieting right then that way it isn't so hard to lose.

Not at all. Me and my partner were slimmer than we are now. I have put on a few stone since having 2 kids, and he has put on a few stone as he can afford to eat food than when he lived alone. He was paid 2.00 an hour (before minimum wage kicked in) so at the end of the week, barely came even so had to eat little to pay the bills. I love him even more now he has something to cuddle at night.

Yes! If you really love that person before then i think you should unless you was just talking to that person of there looks but hey i would no matter what it says stick together threw thick in thin so is you or any person don't want to be with that person because the gain some weight so that means you didn't want them in the 1st place.

Love is the eye to eye contact the flash that happen when the lovers look at each other. if it is true love it doesnt matter believe me. I have expirienced working in a holiday place that people relax and go there with the loved one and believe me have been wondered hundreds time how a skinny looks with such a passion and ready to do anything to his/her other half thats HUGE. Money doesnt matter too when there is real love

I would still be happy with the person. I mean, the outside changed not the inside right? But I would encourage them to take better care of themselves. It isn't healthy for a person to be obese and there can't be a relationship if the partner dies.....

I would not but would not leave someone because they got fat, i would get gym memberships, workout DVDs and diet books as gifts for that partner and being fat is not healthy for anyone.

does anyone take their marriage vows seriously? the vow "for better or worse" is apart of the vows for a reason. would you leave your partner if he/she were injured in an accident and it left them disfigured or possibly handicap? if a person gains weight, so what. i mean, yes if it gets to the point that its effecting their health, then you encourage them to get healthy. but my god, look at the world we live in. there are worse things than a loved one being over weight!!!
