Unemployment is ramping up.
The problem with the government statistics are that the government "adjusts" them. And they in NO way account for the number of "underemployed".
Lots of people are losing good to great paying jobs, then because they have to feed their families, they take any job, even at a hugely reduced salary, to do that.
The government statistics do not account for this at all.
As usual, things are going to hell and our government, and most citizens, are clueless.
Hold on folks, it's going to be a bumpy ride...

there is more unemployment in the middle part of america then the report leads you to believe. Oh, MI, Pa, Ky. and a few more have a long way to go before the unemployment will drop to levels present in some of the more wealthy states. these state had employment in cars, steel, coal, and manufacturing items, so they need to find a way to generate more business types or models
seasonally this is a time with many people having part time jobs for christmas.

You can either read all the reports and believe the truth that the unemployment levels are at an all time low or you can search the sky's for those little black helicopters.
Not to mention the unemployment rate would be even lower if it weren't for the leeches on society that claim they can't find a job but refuse to do one's they consider below them even though jobs are out there to be had.
They should either admit they are a lazy piece of dirt or take the jobs that are available but stop blaming society.

It is not the entire government that is telling us this, only certain liberal leaders. The liberal media chooses to report only what they want us to hear.
The unemployment rate is really at about 4%- that means that we have an employment rate of 96%. I would suggest you research who that 4% consists of. Does that include stay at home moms who choose to not be employed? I have heard that Self employed people are also part of that 4%.
So really the answer to both of your questions is NO. Unemployment rates are actually very low and they have been at record low numbers in many parts of the country.

Some unemployment is good. If everyone were employed, than there would be lots of inflation. Demand would out-pace supply and everything would cost a lot. Unemployment is healthy.
Of course, unless you are unemployed, then it stinks.
Of course, if you are unemployed you can sit home and collect money, then it rocks.
Of course, that money can run out, then it sucks.

the numbers are actually the number of people drawing unemployment insurance and they come from each individual state ( they are combined with other numbers reported by federal agencies - like Wick and other welfare )
THEY ARE ACCURATE lots of agencies 'pad' the numbers as much as possible because their budget depends on the number of people they serve - but they do not report the unemployed receiving no assistance of any type ( there is also reporting on the number of people WORKING from many sources )

It is hard to tell. The unemployment rate is based on statistics...
But oviously there are unemployed people. You what else there are? JOBS. I see them listed in my local paper everyday...I also see "now hiring" signs all over the place.

Unemployment is rampant, job security is almost non-existant and making a living wage once you have a job is even harder.

nothing in the US is as the governemt says it is. remember roswells "weather balloon" they didn know wtf it really was and tried designing something similiar to what people had seen to prove it, but there are things found that were not of our world. and then theres our war on terrorism??? wtf is that all about, and i dont know how people can believe anything the gov't says! they only say what is good for them and what brings them money! like the moon landing, im sure man has been on the moon but not when they say man was on the moon, in what 69. and it makes it more unbelievable when NASA lost ALL the moon landing films, your dont just lose those, there historical documents almost as important as our declaration of independence, things like that dont just get "misplaced" so dont believe the government take what they say in consideration then think for yourself about the situation. thats what makes us americans the right to have our own free thinking mind, so use it!!!!!
