Conservatives protect the status quo, by definition. Conservatives do not invent, improve, or initiate. They inhibit, repress, and regress. Is the reason they hate the United States of America is that this union of citizens, under the banner and protection of the Bill of Rights and the Constitution, is liberal by its foundation and nature?

You are correct. We are a Liberal Democracy. By the very definition it means we must evolve and encourage the progress that is inherent in human beings. I do worry that you are supposed to be a conservative by middle age. What does that tell you? Afraid of change, afraid of progress and dogmatic in your views.

Please deliver me the source. I even have not heard the term "present day" used interior the comparable sentence as Conservative in my existence. who's doing that now? these days, the Democrat Liberals have been making use of the term "present day" because of the fact the term Liberal would not ballot properly. Please, i'm extreme. in case you have a source i choose to work out it. making use of the term Conservative and present day mutually is an abomination. i'm a Conservative. *

Sorry for not supporting the murder of 1.37 million babies a year and wish to repress racism and terrorism-those darn family values. And the Constitution is more conservative, they prefer the people ruling more than the govt, liberalism is the opposite.

In my opinion it's the liberals who are regressive and the Conservatives who are progressive so I can't explain your warped, twisted theory. Why don't you try to explain it?

Bingo.

Good luck getting any of them to admit it, though. They're too busy attacking liberals because they think we're an insult to their "traditional American values" (which are neither traditional, American, nor of any moral value).

"We actually believe in conserving family values and sticking to our roots"What they hardly ever tell you that it are the family values and roots of TV shows like the Waltons they want to stick to.
An idealist version of conservatism that never was.

conservatives don't invent? WTF are you talking about?

I would like some proof. And a definition of an ideology that people say they are is never a good thing to truly follow the defintion strictly

If that is the reason that you think you are right, then you seriously have some problems. Is that why you have a prince albert?
