If you can elaborate, what about upper middle class? Or any of the other "terms" used to define people and their status??
Just curious!! Thanks!

Anyone who makes less than $19,000 per year is considered to be under the poverty line. That I got from a class I was taking. Middle Class families make 20,000 to about $50,000 per year. And the upper class make over $50,000 per year.

Lower class would probably be a family who only brings in about 1-3 grand combine a month.

middle class would be about 3-10 a month

upper class well, 10+ a month.

I would think that it would actually go off of your yearly income how much you get in the door and how much goes out.

I am just guessing here I could be completly wrong

I think it depends on where you live. If I made my current salary (approx 55k/year) in Oklahoma, or just about any other State for that matter, I would probably be considered upper middle class, Here in San Diego, I am dirt poor!
