(personally I depise those who openly wear fur, I dunno if I hate them enough in terms of their personality, but I think it's sick they do so. And no, I am not jealous of their fame/cash/status)

I would like to see these 'celebrities' have their own ugly skin torn off them, in public. That is what they deserve. Don't they know how hideous they look???? They think they are so important, their arrogance knows no bounds. Maybe if they could see all the wretched carcasses from which their 'lovely' fur came from, piled up in front of them, they might change their minds, but probably not!
They certainly deserve more than paint sprayed on their pathetic coats.
I'm a Vegan who doesn't wear leather, fur or anything else that looks a million times better on the beautiful and exotic animal it came from, than on the pathetic, attention seeking back of a celebrity or attention seeker.

Although I'm not a strong animal lovers or anything, but I totally agree wit you. First of all, I would never ever wear fur, I intentionally try to avoid as many leather products as I could also, however I'm not as strong a believer to go the extra mile to ban it from my life, I mean my car's seat is leather, (it comes standard, I didn't ask for it as an option, but I'm not going to complaint about it)… I'm also Buddhist so one week per month, I'm a vegetarian, and that means no meat whatsoever, no beef, no lamb, no chicken, no pork, no seafoods (I don't understand how people could be like I don't eat meat, but fish and shrimp are okay…) I also have three dogs which I love very much so for me to think that somewhere out there, people might raise a bunch of them (not dogs, but I think of those poor rabbits, foxes, etc… as if they're my dogs) and once they're old enough, strip off their skin, throw their bare naked bodies away, I don't know, that just make me sick...

I am confused about why people wear fur.
Are they paying homage to their caveman ancestors?
Are they boycotting the Industrial Revolution by not wearing manufactured textiles?
Maybe it is a self esteem issue that makes them want/need furry dead things in their possession.
I think more trophy wives wear fur than celebrities.

To me it's sort of.... odd, I guess. I really don't see why someone would want to wear an item made from a dead animal, I mean, you wouldn't want to wear a dead human. I guess if it was made from an animal that was killed for the purpose of eating you might as well not waste it, but if the animal was killed just for making that item, then I guess I just feel like it's cruel or something.

A persons personal preferences should not be used to try and make others feel bad for theirs!!!! Whether you eat meat or wear fur ,or not eat meat or wear fur does not in itself make a person better or worse!!!

I read this one story where someone from PITA attacked this guy and his wife (he was wearing a leather coat), and ruined the guy's coat and assaulted his wife...why don't they go after the high profile celebs instead of pickin' on the regular people? Anyway, a little off topic but I don't see how people tolerate celebrities anyway.

I don't worry about what others choose to do. Some of the anti-fur people wear leather, eat meat. My sister won't eat meat but eats chicken. That's so dumb.

most celebrities are animal lovers theses days it's the in thing for them, you see it more in the ordinary working gals. I personally hate to see anyone in fur, fake or otherwise.

they could care less about enviromental problems as long as they look good...i love hamsters so i'd never wear fur lol
