Actually two books and I can't remember the names, but I want to get them for my daughter. One was about a couple of kids who found a big bag of popcorn and the other is about a couple of kids whose parents wouldn't let them trick or treat, so they made cookies, dressed in costumes and gave the cookies away to the neighbors in exchange. Does this sound familiar to you? Thanks!

Actually, Jay, it is Tween, that would be
be-tween 10 and 13. But if I had a picture I wouldn't need to know the name, now would I? Thanks anyway.

I know what you mean by 'tween, but all I can suggest is this link, as I don't recognise those books. Maybe the people there could help you? Also, have you asked the people who knew you back then, maybe they might recall where those books wound up?
Maybe the books were passed along to their kids? Worth a try, imagine if you bought them on amazon or ebay and found they had them all along : )
I hope you trace the books and I hope your daughter does enjoy them, even tho' she's a different generation. My godchild hated my choice of books for her one year, but that's people for you!
