Never be wasteful. Some people don't even that the luxury to have good food on the floor to eat. The question is would you eat after you drop it in the toilet.? haha
I would, if the toilet is in IKEA showroom.

but the food would have to be something dry and impervious (like a skittle) and the floor would have to be clean (like my living room carpet that I had just vacuumed).
Under just the right set of circumstances and weather conditions, YES.
