I broke my ankle 2 years back docters gave me a choice i can get the plates back out, if i wanted to.Is it worth it?

If they are not causing any problems I would just leave them alone. The more surgeries you have the more scar tissue that is formed and this could be more limiting than the plates. If you have significant range of motion restrictions, pain, etc than that may warrant having them taken out. Most orthopedic surgeons will not take them out unless this is the case.

If it does not hurt why mess with it. More they cut on you the higher chance of lasting problems
I have helped put in 100s and taken out only a few.
