i got my nose pierced on saturday, and i was told at school today i have to take it out.. will the hole just close up or get infected?

or should i just wear a plaster and tell the teacher that it will get infected if i do take it out?

it cost 35 euro, the teacher told me i had just wasted my money!

You're supposed to leave it in for at least 2 weeks. Unfortunately the hole will close up. I doubt if the teacher will allow you to keep it in. You may have to wait until school is out.

If need be, I would suggest getting a quartz retainer. You can find some at www.bodyartforms.com. I would also recommend having your piercer change it for you so you don't hurt your new piercing.

However, if you take out the piercing for school, the hole will probably start to close up since its so new. You would only get an infection if you don't clean the area, but you should have found out if your school allowed piercings before having it done. Personally, I would protest and look for a loop hole in the laws, but to remain civil and keep things simple; either take it out and repierce it later or get a retainer to hide it.

The hole won't get infected if you take it out, and your teacher wouldn't believe that even if you told her that. If your school policy is no jewelry in your nose, then you did just waste 35 euro.

Or you can try putting in a clear stud. Thats what I did for my parents and it worked fine.

Christian T is right. And usually if you have a clear one in, it's not noticable. Especially if it's a really small one.
