She needs more sleep. An earlier bedtime will be a great thing for both of you. Move her bedtime back by 20 minutes every 3 days until it she is going to bed around 7:30 or 8:00. This works for me: 11 hours of sleep at night for my daughter, then in the morning the routine is that she must dress, then eat, then brush teeth, do her hair and if all of that is done with time to spare, then the two of us can read a book of her choice. She loves to read, so she is much more cooperative when she knows there is a reward for getting ready faster. She is 5. This system came about by trial and error, but it works!

i too am a little off when i first wake up..i like to have a little bit of quiet time before starting my day...just don't talk to her....leave for work then see her when you get home....
