It really doesn't come down to how many shaves. You should change it when you notice that the razor doesn't slide smoothly across your face.

I use a mach 3 turbo and I usually don't change but every 5 or 6 uses.
Probably because I am so cheap and hate to spend the money on razors.
Can you believe how expensive these things are???

I use electric shaver - the blades lasts over a year.

maybe twice.....
the razor i usually use can only be used once. it comes with the soap and even back up blade. so i dunno, i guess it would be better to use it once or twice.
