SNOWMAN SOUP:
1pkg hot chocolate mix
15 mini marshmallows
3 Hershey Kisses
1 candycane
Include this verse:

With freezing weather drawing near,
you'll need to warm your spirit.
So here's a little Snowman soup,
complete with stirring stick.
Add hot water, sip it slow, it's sure to do the trick.
Put all in plastic snack bag.

You could get some colored felt and a hot glue gun and make reindeer to slip on a candy cane or mice to slip on a candy cane. A craft would be inexpensive and more personal than just opening up a bag of candy and passing some around.

I would say that candy canes are probably your best bey. I remember a bus driver I had who used to give out candy canes at Christmas time and they were a big hit!

I would put together a variety bag of candy so the students can choose what they like. Just make them all be seated and only pick one as you walk through the bus. I always loved my bus drivers that gave us candy!

Candy canes come in packs of 24 so get 3 and give each kid one as they gete on the bus.

When i was in school and rode the bus, my bus drivers would hand out candy. one year it was a full size another year a few smaller ones. I remember candy canes too.

At krogers they sell bunches of candy canes! Go there and buy them but make sure you have suckers too incase some child is allergic to candy canes. Then as they leave, say Merry Christmas or HO Ho HOOO!!!! Good luck! : )

stickers. kids love stickers and cross word puzzles / coloring books. dont give them candy, they'll eat it all on your bus, make a mess, and you'lll have to deal with 72 kids who all have a sugar high at the same time! Dont set yourself up for diaster.
