They're insecure. And also, it a defend magnesium. It's natural for human to defend themselves even when the realize at some point that they might have been wrong. But they continue to justify their position in order to maintain their power status. Admitting yourself to be wrong means giving up something and change. Change is difficult for some people. Why you think we're still fighting in Iraq? haha

I just think people do not like the feeling of defeat. I think when we feel infereior, it sparks the anger and defense mode kicks in. Funny you ask, I am constantly trying to work on that exact thing. I think if we just admit we are wrong, it actually brings peace instead of a full blown argument. Man, don't we all wish we were perfect though.

Doing the superb element is seldom the comparable as doing the user-friendly element, even while it is so uncomplicated as admitting incorrect.

Because when we admit that we're wrong, we run the risk of looking even more like a fool than we did in the first place....

I thought I was wrong once...but I was mistaken.
actually, I've found its a lot easier to just admit it and get it over with. Most people admire the honor in the admission

When we're wrong, we don't realize it at first. We don't usually know were wrong till down the road. It takes hindsight and rethinking and owning up and making amends. Lot a work, that being wrong stuff. I prefer bull-headed self-righteousness myself. J/K!

My friends (the other people who answered this) and I believe YOU are the only one who is ever wrong and we are waiting for our apology so that we can go about our day, sucking on the very fabric of the universe

I always admit when I'm wrong......and it's NOT HARD to admit that. If I know I am wrong I say it if I'm right I will tell you or if I'm unsure...I simply say "I'm not sure if I'm right or wrong"
Rock on!
