Well, I think it's sometimes hard to say we're sorry because then we are admitting to being in the wrong. It can also be embarrassing and uncomfortable, but over the past few years, I've found out how important those 2 little words can be. They can be the 2 most healing words in the English language. When my wife and I have a spat or disagree on something, we never let it go for very long and we both end up apologizing to each other. I think this is one reason why our relationship is so strong. Neither of us ever hesitate to say those 2 little words. Practice...it gets easier especially when the outcome is peace.

One of the reasoons why is that it involves a repudiation of one's own past remarks. Repudiation can be embarrassing
And.. of course...It is partly personality and partly upbringing and can be a sign of having no self worth.
Somebody with a fear of criticism, who worries about what other people think, might say sorry all the time or they might have difficulty saying sorry at anytime because the feel they will be judged badly or they see it as a sign of weakness.

Actually it's easy to say it, I say sorry a little to much. Do you have any advice to stop me from saying it when I have no reasons to say it? I'm sorry to say but it's mostly hard to say if you don't really mean it. But sometimes people can say it without meaning it....
Rock on!

Because it's more grammatically correct to say " 'e's sorry. " If you have a good education, or at least read a lot, incorrect grammer will just sound wrong.

Probably because we don't want to admit to ourselves that we were wrong or we're trying to avoid emotions that seem to only make us feel weak or upset. It hurts sometimes to face what you might've done but I think it takes a strong person to admit their faults and learn from 'em.

Cause of guilt and having to admit you were wrong when you were so head strong. But you feel better afterwards.
