Most definitely Clooney. In spite of his good looks, charisma and No. 1 spot on everyone's Hit Parade, he still comes across as a genuinely nice guy who is not full of himself, or even really impressed with himself. Tom Cruise on the other hand seems to think he's the hottest thing since sliced bread or disposable diapers. Actually, for me, he's in the disposable diapers category.

It depends on what you are asking. I am assuming you mean who do people prefer. I have to say George Clooney, hands down. Tom Cruise is a complete weirdo. I used to respect him as an actor and think he was attractive. Now, his obsurd behavior (like the couch jumping episode on Oprah) has made him repulsive in my eyes. Plus, he and Katie Holmes are utterly nauseating (not to mention the age difference). The way he tries to shove his alien loving religion down everyone's throats has really shifted him from sex symbol to laughingstock.
